Exposed brick is always a pretty cool element in a house don't you think. Either left natural, or painted out white.
But something I'm really loving is glazed brick work, like in this house. They come in quite a few colours, but black would have to be my favourite. And the soft glow they give off is just gorgeous.
They can be used externally as well, so for a blade wall that runs from inside to out, they'd be a perfect choice.
