What a cool fun house this place seems. The brilliant wallpaper in the bedroom to the black walls, the chalk paint kitchen fun, and the swing under the porch. Love it all.

I really liked seeing that book case though. I have a similar one which is a bit bigger, it came from an old post office originally. At the moment it is full to the brim with decor magazines. Who'd have guessed! Seeing this book case though made me think I really should delete a few of those mags and use it more for displaying treasures.

Common Thread

Loving the colour and casual style of this place. Nothing too precious, but a whole lot of fun and vibrant touches everywhere.

From the colourful furniture, to the mirror collection and ethnic fabrics, there are so many looks happening here, but with one common thread. Serious fun.

Promise And Joy

Oh Saturday morning, what promise and joy you bring! No work, no deadlines, no meetings that last a mind numbingly length of time. Just me and my bed - nothing beats that.

Takes My Fancy

This cool Paris pad really takes my fancy. Lovely scale in the rooms, cool furnishings, a smattering of amazing vintage pieces, and a riot of lovely colour.

And there's that patchwork wallpaper look happening again.

Oh So Pretty

Gorgeous scale and stripped back lines in this home. But at the top of the stairs, POW! An eye full of oh so pretty colour. Just delightful.

Black, White And A Smidge

Contrary to my awfully soft spot for Dior bags and trips to Paris, it doesn't take much to make me happy really.

Some simple white lining boards, a bit of black and white tile and a smidge of grey like in this fab pad, and I'd be pretty chuffed!

Sunday Wishes

Hope all you lovely people have a relaxing Sunday. I'm certainly looking forward to a little down time today.

Big love to my mate Melis from the fabulous blog Melissa Loves for a neon sweet mention. Please go and see the amazing curations she brings together. Oh and did I mention she has a gorgeous Etsy shop, AND a killer Pinterest collection, and, and, and.... Well, you get the picture. It's kind of a crush : )

Thanks to all the lovely new followers who've jumped on board the Diversion train, and a big mwuah and cheesy grin to all you lovely people who come by for a look-see and leave the sweetest notes!

Feeling a bit bad that i'm not getting around to see everyone as much as I'd like at the moment, but I'm in a bit of an amped up crazy time here. Hopefully things will settle down soon! {or someone will discover an extra coupla hours in the day - now that would be cool}

Happy Mum's Day

Huuuuge happy mum's day to all the mothers out there. Personally I think it should be mum's week...fortnight...month...

Hope the little cherubs in your life make you grin and feel special. The cherubs in this household have always been rather sweet on mothers' day, usually an errant piece of toast and a luke warm cup of tea make their way in my direction.

Although one particularly special mothers' day I got hauled out of bed around 6.00 am on the promise of a 'special surprise'. Walking into the kitchen the breakfast table was strewn with all manner of hand made cards and wonky pen holders, and in the middle of it all was a big old glass of red wine! No actual food, just wine. They thought they'd make me my favourite seeing as it was a special day and everything!

"Hhhm, wow.....Cabernet for Brekky - thanks boys that's just what I felt like".

"Yeah, that's what we thought, we know you love wine!"

Hippy Easter

Hope all you kids have a lovely sunny and peaceful Easter. And remember, if you are heading out somewhere over the long weekend, white gloves and bobby socks are always a killer combo.
