Little Edge

The classic style of this home has a little edge to it, which I love. The exposed brick wall in a sea of off white adds warmth as do the textiles and the cow skin rugs.

One little detail I'm really loving is the timber table with the black painted frame. What a great contrast. And the fact that it's soft matt chalky black makes me even more smitten.

Lovely All Round

Usually when trawling for interior porn {hopefully the spam-o-dometer doesn't go through the roof due to that word}, children's spaces aren't on my main radar. But this home got me in with the children's rooms. Especially that lovely little hidey hole in the cupboard. What a dream space that would be for a young one. I like the way the children's spaces aren't totally juvenile, or, trying to be too cool for school.

Apart from that, the lovely balcony space is gorgeous for an inner city home. I imagine the parent/s in this home enjoy a fair bit of time out there while the young are otherwise entertained in loft cupboards and what-not.

And that kitchen is fabulous also. I want a dear friend to own this place so I can bunker down at that table with a bottle of wine for a good long while.

This home is lovely all round.

Authentically Clever

This welcoming family home is full of clever little ideas. From the built in bed with storage underneath to the superb hat shade, I love them all.

Mixed with a life full of personal treasures, these clever little ideas manage to avoid looking try hard.

That makes this place authentically clever!

Round Out

I'm really taken with this place. I like the clever way the clean modern lines, the vaulted ceilings and concrete tub are smoothed and softened by the owner's belongings.

Vintage oils, textiles, inviting furniture and a gorgeous vintage glass collection all help to round out the edges.

What Delight

A little grey, white and vintage always works doesn't it. Such a sweet space and a great collection of vintage paintings.

I think I need a dressing table like the one in this place. Fancy that, sitting a table, being a lady, applying perfume from a spritzer and generally glamming up.

What delight.

My List

Don't you love the filled to the brim style of this home. I certainly do.

Spent a good long while pouring over these images, and discovering so many lovely details among them. The chevron patterned tiles in the kitchen just blew me away. I wouldn't love them half as much if they were in a white austere slice of perfection kind of home. But here, they're perfect.

I'm currently on the look out for some pre-loved sofas for our new family room - something kid friendly that doesn't hurt my eyes. And after seeing all that squishy black leather goodness, something similar has gone to the top of my list.
