Not So Sure

Its not often that I'm undecided about something, but I am undecided about those doors. What do you think? They're a little too reminiscent of 90's faux distressing for me. But that's just me.

But I do love the play on scale in this home. The small but v. cool digital clock in the gold rococo picture frame is a great piece.

I'm also seriously loving that silver Panton lamp. I had thought for a long time that a white Tizzio would be my desk lamp of choice when I get around to prioritizing that purchase, but now I'm not so sure!

Sleek and Oh So Cool

Living in roof space always seems to encourage ingenuity in design. And this place is no different.

Apart from the gorgeous Paris-ness of the building there have been some modern injections which not only look great, but function perfectly too.

My fave? The pocket door to the bedroom. Sleek and oh so cool.

Interior Eye

Firstly, apologies for my absence this week. The long weekend mentally lingered for a long time!

So to head into the weekend with some fine interior eye candy - how about this little specimen. Remember the deer plaques I wanted to smuggle out of Bali? Well I was glad to see one of them in this home, clearly thriving on a cooler climate. Good to know they're adaptable.

Apart from that, what a lovely warm home. I love the raw timber doors against the cool greys and white. Nice touch.

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by this last week.
{even though I gave you no real incentive to do so! Promise I'll make up for it!}

Must Languish

This whole place has a lovely relaxed feel to it but that bedroom particularly just screams holiday to me. The people who are lucky enough to live here must languish in that room. The way the sun comes in I could very easily spend a few afternoon hours reading and kipping.

But the other thing that really sold this place for me was the antique doors in the bedroom. I have no idea what's behind them - closet or ensuite most likely. But what ever it is, it has one v. grand entrance.
