Credentials

Another lovely boho chic pad to round out the week. This one seems very grown up through don't you think. Its boho chic with credentials.

The black, grey, white and beige scheme is a perfect back drop for a bit of tribal, a bit of gold luxe, and a bit of texture. Perfect ingredients.

No Wonder

Did you spot this amazing home over at Apartment Therapy last week? I had serious home envy when I spotted it. The scale, the bathroom, the beams, the bathroom, the painted brick, the bathroom.

We have one bathroom renovation on the cards for this year, but I seriously wish it was my bathroom and not the family one that is getting done - I'd love to pull off something as gorgeous as this one. {{I also wish my bathroom was three times the size and had beautiful exposed brick and a fireplace!}}

All round great looking home full of individual treasures on the boho chic end of the scale. No wonder I love it.

My List

Don't you love the filled to the brim style of this home. I certainly do.

Spent a good long while pouring over these images, and discovering so many lovely details among them. The chevron patterned tiles in the kitchen just blew me away. I wouldn't love them half as much if they were in a white austere slice of perfection kind of home. But here, they're perfect.

I'm currently on the look out for some pre-loved sofas for our new family room - something kid friendly that doesn't hurt my eyes. And after seeing all that squishy black leather goodness, something similar has gone to the top of my list.

Settle In

I don't know about you, but this place looks just like what I need right now. The country around the gorgeous Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point Utah reminds me of our aussie outback, so I'm sure I'd settle in very nicely, t.y.v.m.

I love how the resort fit out matches that simple rustic palette and calmness. Just sublime.

Well, as always it's been a brilliant treat to have you all head through this week, and super big thanks to these v.cool kids....

Ellen @ ANZU for sending me a beautiful box of the most exquisite stationary and candle, please do go check them out - their Day At The Beach candle is single-handedly saving me from regressing into a post-summer humpf

Shiny Days and Birthdays

Well it's nearly that time of year again to indulge in all things shiny (I'm sure that's the unofficial purpose of NYE, and I'm sticking to it!), and these images are my kind of shiny. But before I get to that, there's another little celebration to acknowledge.

The Diversion Project turned 1 a couple of days ago, and in true third child form, I totally missed it! When this little project started all those days ago I would never have dreamed that it would turn into the blog it is today. (OK, well today, it is a little bit on the lonely side, but I have one more beach holiday location to get to and then I'm done. Promise)

Thanks to all for making this become something that is really so special to me, and I hope you've enjoyed the ride so far.

I trust everyone had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a happy, healthy and inspiring year ahead!
