Little Edge

The classic style of this home has a little edge to it, which I love. The exposed brick wall in a sea of off white adds warmth as do the textiles and the cow skin rugs.

One little detail I'm really loving is the timber table with the black painted frame. What a great contrast. And the fact that it's soft matt chalky black makes me even more smitten.

Every Element

What a stunning slice of London this home is. Classic and minimal, two styles that were made to sync.

And this place is a brilliant example of it. From the indoor pool to the opulent drapes in the study, every element is strong, classic and understated in its own way.

Credentials

Another lovely boho chic pad to round out the week. This one seems very grown up through don't you think. Its boho chic with credentials.

The black, grey, white and beige scheme is a perfect back drop for a bit of tribal, a bit of gold luxe, and a bit of texture. Perfect ingredients.

Quite Lovely

I've showed you some images of the gorgeous shop maison hand before, and their finished work, but this one is new to me.

Quite lovely don't you think. I'd seriously swap ensuites and dining rooms any day.

Gentle Injection

To round out a week of white walls, this place is taking it through from start to finish. White featuring everywhere, and the colours that are brought in, are done with subtlety.

The washed out pinks and golds are a gentle injection of colour that works so well in this look.

The artwork is also on the same theme. Soft colour washes, but with a good scale that makes a statement.

Sweet Softness

There's a sweet softness about this latest feature from Slanted Mansion. A tranquil femininity that really appeals to me as a woman that shares her home with strictly the male gender.

How about you - do you play down the feminine?

Partially and Predominantly

It seems to be timber week this week. And why not, there's so much grainy goodness to be had. Especially this place, so stunningly teamed up with vast planes of concrete and glass.

The views, both internal and external, are beautifully framed by this structure. But I think the most visually pleasing aspect is the vast stairs.

Straddled by a glass wall, partially inside and predominantly outside, the stairs are a thing of genius.
