No Exception

I never tire of poking my nose into other people's homes. And this v.cool place is certainly no exception.

Loved the collected treasures in this home of Sharon Ainsberg spotted over at The Coveteur. Her mix of vintage, timber and velvet is a look quite close to my heart. And if she ever wanted someone to take these two lamps, the leopard pouch and the shoes off her hands, you know, I'd be happy to help sister out.

So Saturday

So, it's Saturday, it's cold, and I'm sick. The best cure - a bit of vicarious glamour via The Coveteur.

These lovely shots were just what the doctor ordered. And excuse me, but just how stunning are those marble tiles?

Guilty

Yes, guilty. Gratuitous bag post ensues.

If you've been Diverted for a while you're most likely aware that I have a very soft spot for bags. That being said, it wasn't hard to get hooked by these beautiful morsels.

I discovered them over at that paradise in the ether called Etsy, at a brilliant little shop ~ Flat Four. And needless to say, I'd like every pair of shoes too!

Gold Tooth

OK, so normally my shoe style is a little more aimed at the sky scraper variety, but these babies are calling my name something bad.

They're from the v. cool brand Ash, who seem to be turning the humble sneaker into something flasher than a rat with a gold tooth. If you do a search, you'll get lead to a number of providores peddling these wares but I found these classic numbers here. Am loving the idea of these and white jeans.

The satin classics in the middle are called Viper. Oooeeerrr, yes please.

Shoe Bones

The other week Kellie at Ada&Darcy posted some images of her little angels' party time in her lovely home. I tell you, if you don't know what 'butter wouldn't melt' looks like, head over here and check out these two.

Kellie's post reminded me of these fabulous images, and even though it pains me to post images of shoes being hurt (yes, I am a shoe rights liberationist) - they're pretty flipping funny.

The Buffet

These incredible images of the ever stunning creations of Louboutin are by Peter Lippman. I really love the styling of this work, just so over the top, so luxxe and so beautiful.

The detail of the styling is really quite something else, so please click on the image for a larger view. Each one tells such a story.

Must Have. Now.

Well, OK, so I like shoes. Maybe 'like' is a bit of an understatement, because I would do a lot of bad things in order to get my hands on these. Thankfully that's not necessary, these gorgeous creatures by Jeffrey Campbell are available here.
They might not be the best boots for my construction site meetings, but I'll find an outing for them somewhere. Ladies auxillary meeting maybe.
If only I could buy the legs too....

Lie To Me Baby

...No actually tell me the thruth (but only if it's what I want to hear) - Is it wrong to buy a pair of shoes just because they would look so lovely in your house?

Well, that wasn't the entire reason I got them.....when Wittner has a 70% off sale, attention must be paid. Plus no doubt there will be a really great occasion to wear them to shortly - like jury duty or a 1st birthday party.
