Seeing this place confirmed my all white approach to the 60's Splendour (not that there's a lot of white, or a lot of anything going on right now while I save for a new roof!).
The open and light feel of this place is the perfect back drop for cool injections of colour. I especially love the vintage upholstered chairs. And love the rickety old peacock even more.

which is always a good thing in a house.
The carpet in the second last picture looks lovely. Maybe I give it a try and paint a white rug mayself... Thanks for the inspiration!
