A Little While
I just loved this image, and it was most useful. Reminded me to do something I seem to be forgetting to do this weekend.
Eight days away from the move and we're in that no where land of a half packed house and not enough utensils. Oh well, we'll pull through no doubt!
Apologies for having no idea of who to thank this week. I'm assuming a few people popped in here, but I haven't been keeping track. So, thank you.
I'm going to sign off from here for a little while, until we're in the 60's Splendour and I have connection sorted. I'm going to cancel the papers, fill up the bird feeder, and leave a few posts (fast, dirty and Tumblr style) on auto feed though just in case someone wanders through for a Diversion or two. Take care this week.

It Seems That
I was going to say that I showed you Bookshelf Porn "just the other day", truth is, it was over a year ago. Seriously? Can't be. But it seems that it is. Where have the weeks gone?
The reason for reminding you of bookshelf porn is that I'm currently loving a similar thread called Bookshelf over at It's Nice That, a little corner of the universe that I like to frequent.
They not only delve into some v. cool homes to snaffle these images, but they also go through a little review of the contents with the owner.
If you're looking for bookshelf eye candy that comes with a good book recommendation, this one is for you.

Cool Combo
Classic cool combo of white, vintage, and collections. It doesn't take much more than that for me to like a place. But chuck in some stellar concrete floors and you know I'm won over don't you.
But apart from my usual tendencies, the little snippet that really wins me over with this place is the slice of turquoise.
If this was my place and that surf board was leaning up against the wall every day, I doubt it would be long before a door (or maybe three or four) were that colour too.

Fickle
Spring was here, spring was here. But suddenly it has gone again. September can be fickle that way.
But I'm crossing my fingers that it comes back in time for our house move. And not a minute too soon.
These images are helping me hold out hope that warmth, green and sun will be ours again. The feel in these spaces is so relaxed and open, with loads of white and greenery.

Texture
The texture in this place is seriously spesh. Starting with the copper pendant.
But every surface has an understated and stylish take on texture. The wallpaper, the curtains, velvets and hides all contribute to this luxe look.
My favourite piece is that calfskin wish bone chair. Now that is a great look, with the blonde timber frame. Want.
