Big White

Flipping jealous of that panton light over the table. It is seriously cool.

But on bedrooms {yep,still there}, loved seeing that big white faux on the bed. Reminded me of an I-could-do-that moment I had last winter, but at the time I struggled with the idea of having to cover my suzani. Still am.

Maybe one day some white faux will make it's way through my door, but probably not this year either.

Just Because...

...I fell instantly in love with this place when I spotted it over at La Boheme. Black + fur + concrete + grey + timber = Gorgeousness.

The Appeal

I'm a real sucker for velvet sofas, and as this place has two - you can see the appeal. Add to that the gorgeous fur bed cover and I'm really in love with this place.

Most fur throws appeal to me, but I kind of put them into the 'Oh, I couldn't. Could I?' category, or they are far too austin powers to be taken seriously. This white one though is just stunning. Teamed with the crystal lamps it really gives the room some understated glamour.

Gorgeous Slice

This place is one gorgeous slice of modern. The big open living space is beautifully grounded by large scale pieces that soften the slate floor.

But I have to admit, the main thing I love is that ''yeah baby'' bedroom. Too much info? Possibly, but man it is good isn't it.

Haven Of Luxury

The images of this mountain retreat made my pupils dilate. The entry made me do it. Naturally I love everything I show you, but that entry is seriously one of the best things I've seen.

The other little snippets I love here are the oodles of texture - on the floors, on the beds, on the walls and the ceilings. It feels like a little soft haven of luxury and natural style.

Seduction

Maybe the cold winter wind oputside has something to do with it, but this place is seducing me with its dark mood, stone, timber and stylish details. Or it could be that fur throw on the bed and the shoulder depth tub right next to it.

Looks to me like a perfect little grown ups only sanctuary.

A Day Or Two

Gloss floors with fur skin rugs and hides are a fabulous contrast that is picked up so well in these images, and a look that I really love.

The other common thread here is an amazing resemblance to my own home - miles of necklaces and jewellery tucked away in all sorts of places. I usually go for big vases or compote dishes holding collections by colour (i swear it makes mornings so much easier!), but the door handles are a storage facility I've yet to take advantage of. But give me a day or two, and that can easily change.

Under My Skin

This furskin rage that is in its peak at the moment hasn't really gotten under my skin, until this.

The chairs covered in skins have really appealed to me when dished up in a more modern recipe. And the fact they threw a capiz shell light into the mix just sweetened the deal.
