The steel in this house is just wonderful. I seriously love steel. It might even be a third in my top 10 of materials. Concrete is no. 1 (you knew that right) and I think timber would have to be no. 2. So, yep, steel would be 3.
The other elements I seriously admire in the house are the hand cut tiles, both in the kitchen and the bathroom. There is something so perfect about the way they're not perfect.
