Don't Even

I'm always grateful for inspiration, and this home inspired me no end.

The mix of antique, mid-century and modern all just gels together beautifully in my eyes. So cleverly done. But the piece of inspiration that has gone straight to the must-use-in-a-house-of-mine-one-day file is the silver leaf in the kitchen.

Taking a basic board fit out of new kitchen elements and instead of cladding it with tile, stone, marble, timber - giving it a little shim and some leaf and letting it shine instead. Easy and stunning - perfect recipe.

And don't even get me started on the fact that those units are suspended.

Wow, that kitchen!! No words. Are those cabinets silver leaf? I don't know what is going on, but it's pretty nifty. As are the ceilings and floors.
