Considered The Proposition

I've recently started a little personal file on my hard drive for inspiring new home build images. The land I have been considering is still going through a few approvals processes, so it's not a done deal by any means.

But naturally I have considered the proposition even in my sleep and have some ideas pulled together for new build nirvana.

This place is currently taking pole position in the I Want That stakes. Concrete floors, big windows, rooms with lovely scale, all kitted out with some vintage and some natural timber. Warming to the idea, warming.

I can definitely see why you'd be loving this one. I especially love the high windows in the living space. Good luck with the land bloss.

That is divine - I love it all! Even the wood chip interior but really, I think that block of charcoal grey may just be the love of my life....

that's so funny.. i was scrolling down through the images & thinking you should just build a house! you have a developed sense of style & space so i think the house would be fantastic.. something a little different too. i love how the kitchen is just a big block in the centre of the room & not typical. if you want help getting the plan up and running, just say the word.

Ah, for one who has a wandering eye for many variations of beautiful spaces, which is evident from the fabulous eclectic nature of your postings, it is becoming apparent that your style is now becoming much more honed into "what do I REALLY love in essence, not just to admire, but to live in with joy", which is a fabulous place to begin your new exciting journey. I can see a house with large windows and cosy corners, that plays with light and shadows, with rough timbers and mottled concrete, with thoughtful details and tactile materials at every turn.

Now having big doors that open out from a bedroom like that is certainly a must have!

The given photos in this blog are truly inspiring! It would be so nice to come home to a cozy living space, designed just for you. From the furniture to the combination of colors, flooring Houston and the other home fixtures - it would really be lovely to make these sample concepts turn into reality.
