More Appealing

This home has character, and in bucket loads. The use of up to the minute paper and some boho chic would normally make for text book top marks, but the application of it here is quite individual to my eye, which I find more appealing. Like it. Like it a lot.

ummmm - a little bit of a dog's breakfast to me!
this is a house i couldn't live in, is it in fact someones house or a photo shoot for some misguided stylist?

It is indeed someone's home, and it is in London. I'd happily hang out here anyday.

I agree... particularly the last image. There's something about it that looks totally real (if that makes sense!).

Have a great weekend.

I like it too. Texture and pattern use is brave but well done. You always have the best images, Jules. xx

I really like it, Jules. I love all the different patterns and textures. And some of the furntiture is fantastic. It is very styled, but there's plenty of inspiration here :)

Oh yes, very appealing. It's one of those houses where when you enter you feel as though you're visiting an actual characterful person rather than a furniture showroom.

What is it about crumbling paint that adds so much character to the room? Is it the texture, or do we think it tells some story? Either way, I love these photos.
