Something To Do

You might have thought I was posting this based on polished concrete alone. Am I right? But that's just the icing.

I mean did your jaw drop a little when you saw that bedroom? So did mine. I love the grey silk treatment on the wall. If you're thinking that there's a lot of lovely fabrics here, it's possibly got something to do with the fact that the owner is Melbourne textile designer Dianne Bergeron.

I found this fab place over at Living Etc, and it occurred to me that I have found some of my favourite Aussie homes in a British magazine. What's that about?

But anyway, I digress - did you see the polished concrete?

I love the grey silk on the walls! I would love to try something like this, but I'm afraid it wouldn't turn out looking very good, that's usually the case, lol! Have a great day, Jules! XO!

I saw the draped walls first, but then I eventually saw the concrete. :o)
I'm seriously thinking of draping the cinderblock walls of my work office in fabric. I think it would improve the esthetic, but the only way I can think to adhere it would be hot glue and spray-on adhesive. And I'd hate for 60 yards of drapery to fall off the wall in the middle of a meeting!!
