You might have thought I was posting this based on polished concrete alone. Am I right? But that's just the icing.
I mean did your jaw drop a little when you saw that bedroom? So did mine. I love the grey silk treatment on the wall. If you're thinking that there's a lot of lovely fabrics here, it's possibly got something to do with the fact that the owner is Melbourne textile designer Dianne Bergeron.
I found this fab place over at Living Etc, and it occurred to me that I have found some of my favourite Aussie homes in a British magazine. What's that about?
But anyway, I digress - did you see the polished concrete?

I do love the grey silk bedroom wall and that black and white rug in the living room. Thanks for the inspiration.
The concrete is fabulous and a completely underused flooring material.

Gorgeous...I was so distracted by all the great details, I had to go back to see the polished concrete!:)
I love the grey silk on the walls! I would love to try something like this, but I'm afraid it wouldn't turn out looking very good, that's usually the case, lol! Have a great day, Jules! XO!
I was so distracted with all the beauty that I didn't even see the concrete until you mentioned it, Jules! xx
Oh yes my jaw definitely dropped!!! It's gorgeous!
Hope your day got better, love. Good news is it's one day closer to the weekend :) xoxo
I saw the draped walls first, but then I eventually saw the concrete. :o)
I'm seriously thinking of draping the cinderblock walls of my work office in fabric. I think it would improve the esthetic, but the only way I can think to adhere it would be hot glue and spray-on adhesive. And I'd hate for 60 yards of drapery to fall off the wall in the middle of a meeting!!
