Loving the blue painted floors and the open simple style of this beach side pad. But a couple of things that have me wanting more are the little dusty blue side table and the chartreuse patterned rug in the sitting room.
But most of all I like the bed above, it gives me warm happy thoughts. Like when you go to stay at a friend's parents' place and you're in the spare room that never gets used, and you're totally out of sync with sleeping in a bed that small.
But the bed is old and has a little hollow in the centre and the sheets smell like fabric softener and sunshine. And before you know it, you have the best sleep you've had since you were 8.

I know what you mean about those spare room. Twin beds always give me a good sleep.
I love the green against the white in the first and just love how the colours contrast so beautifully.

Such a gorgeous home Jules. It has such a warm inviting and relaxing feel! The bed reminds me of one that used to be in my husband's grandparents' spare room.
Oh, but the colours... Gorgeous photos good bit of writing there, Jules - I was right there with you when you described the spare room; I can almost smell these sheets.
I love this look. Reminds me of my mum's place xx
those floors...need them.
i love seaside sleeps, too. desert sleeps are equally good. xoxo.
I love painted floors too! This is a gorgeous little cottage, so beachy! And I loved what you wrote about the guest bedroom, I agree, some of my best sleep has been when visiting others (and I always try to make things nice for my own guests!)
Your blog is fabulous!! I love the random paintings above the bed in the last shot. So inviting!

I love the cool look of painted brick. The home seems so airy and calm. I certainly could relax in a place like this.
This home looks comfy. And serene. I could be happy there. Love the corner bookshelves stuffed with books. And the red quilt on the bed.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today - and yes, I think Karey is super cool! :-)
I will be back - I have been to Australia once, for work, and I ache to return. In the meantime, I'll live vicariously through the blogosphere.
