Clever Home

I loved this home in the latest issue of Real Living, so much clever style.

How cool is the Empire State Building canvas, which the owner created from scanning in some tickets from a site seeing trip!

Something that really caught my eye though, when I went looking more, was the table lamp above. I won one of these lamps last Christmas at our office secret santa present mash up! Too funny - I love my office. My boys are too old to let me put it in their rooms without being desperately embarrassed, which is too bad because one of my guys has a Componibili bedside just like this one and they look so cool together!

Where would you put it?!

Images from here.

I've been contemplating buying one of those lamps..I pick them up, I put them down. I think it would have to go in my study, but boy am I tempted to have one in the kitchen!

ha ha! love the lamp. it is like my smorkin labbit - both impossibly cute and antisocial at the same time. did you get one with the turquoise cupcake paper?

well the romans put their naked boys in the garden.....or next to a pool?! of course if you have a niche in a hallway somewhere.......you wouldn't really want to have to clean birdpoop off that lovely cupcake paper.

Scanned from a ticket? That's so original and enterprising, and it looks great. What a nice blog you have here, and your lamp is the envy of my lesser lamp.

Im lovin that old file cabinet dresser! Love that silly lamp too! We must surround ourselves with the things that make us laugh...it is small enough to work on a kitchen counter as well.
