Really loving the goodies I spy at the v.cool vintage store called Lackluster Co. These pieces are just a wafer thin sliver of what's on offer. Do yourself a favour and go take a poke around.
This family have treated their concrete home really cleverly I think. Teaming up the smooth hard surfaces with natural tones, antique pieces and that rough cut timber slab bench - really help give the place soul.
How lovely are these images of the boutique hotel, Lucia Nova, in Malta. The building looks like an amazing place, but the fit out is equally good.
The detail of that tufted cream leather bedhead is fabulous, but I particularly like how they've brought in that citrus throw in a colour palette of neutrals. V.nice.
{but I'd have to turn around that monkey pillow - freaks me out just a little bit!}
So much that's ticking boxes for me with this place. The black wallpaper and beige sofa mixed with the black shell eames and timber rocker are making me very happy.
It feels like a really authentically cool place, which is always a winner. Collected bed linens, holiday mementos and old timber pieces. Nothing beats it.
Have also noticed this place on the back page "next issue" sneak peek in the current Real Living. Looking forward to reading about the family that lives here!
{A triptych with a message this Anzac Day. Click on the image for details, the words are particularly lovely} 1. Anzac fly over, 2. Anzac, 3. Anzac Day service
If you're spending a bit of time over the Easter weekend doing a bit of dry land surfing of the internet kind, you should go check these out. These v.cool ceramics come from the etsy store called dahlhaus.
Just love their clear fresh colours and vintage style form.
You know, violet is not a colour I would have said I've previously given much thought. It's just not in my stable of colours that catch my eye. Well this house changed that.
That first image with the egg chair and the light box art blew me away. I'm going to have to revisit this post in a few months' time to remind myself of that colour. Amazing how things can change in an instant.
