A Tingle

This place grabbed me because it is so unabashedly vintage from top to toe. Some people really hone in on a look and it becomes like their language. Don't get me wrong, I kind of admire that. I'm such a flibbertigibbet that I can never stick at one.

The main reason though that I wanted to show you this place is that bed. How cool is that. I get a tingle of wow-would-love-to-give-something-like-that-a-try every time I see steel tube DIY. But sadly it's kind of like my other would-like-to-give-that-a-try envy, Kate Lanphear's hair; it's probably not going to actually happen!

Love the bed, the couch, the boards, the colours (and even love the hair - yes, I did the jump) .. but those scissors .. I would forever be telling the kids 'not to run with scissors'!!!

oh, and I missed 'phew' .. I love the 'phew' completely

the bed IS pretty fantastic. As are the floors and textiles.

And "flibberty gibbet" might be the most hilarious description for a person I've ever heard. Can you Americanize that for us yanks?? ;)

I spotted the giant shoe last under the table and squealed with delight! I collect shoe lasts and would love to find one like that!
