Regardless Of

I've always had a bit of a thing for exposed brick painted white in homes, but this place has a different proposition. Similar look, but white painted stone.

The scale of this original house has been transformed by the paint-out. I can imagine how different it would be if it was still all natural stone. And regardless of whether you or I agree with painting old stone work, I have to say it really works.

I find this space interesting, because it has virtually no art or color but is still beautiful. Here I have lots of white walls (brick and drywall) and I am busy filling them up with lots of color. No regrets going my way, but I like to see how others deal with white brick.

I agree with you about whiting out brick...especially if the space is small. this space looks small - is it? anyways, I love it.
Have a great day!

My jaw just dropped when I saw that first image (the outside of the home). How striking!

This is utterly sublime and sets my heart aflutter. I want so badly to paint the exterior bricks of our house white but hubby says I have to wait until he dead. hmmm...

We had some white painted brick in our old house and I loved the texture it brought. The brick in it's original state was an ugly 'old make-up' color and it was the long skinny type too...so much better painted!
