Think About

Wood stacks are really catching my eye lately, especially ones like these in the home above and in this example I showed you the other week.

Simple in construction, perfect in rendition. If a new build was on the cards, this may be one of the ideas that get thrown into the mix.

My only concern is, how do you reach the wood on the top? And if you were to be tempted to pull out some logs from the middle would you start an avalanche? Of the kind of proportions that I'm pretty handy at creating with grocery store piles of apples?

I know, practical and boring, but hey I wouldn't be able to apologise profusely and slink out of the place if it was my own home. Something to think about.

This is a home of true contrast and fabulous details.

I love the soft notes against the hard lines and surfaces.

Someone with a great sense of humour, style and notion for liveability designed and built this home I'm sure.

Felicity x

PS How fabulous is the hare?!?

What if it rains on that beautifully comfortable sofa? Those people have the white slipcover I so badly need to make my own sofa look elegantly Swedish and all the blighters do is leave it out in the rain.

Woo. This is one piece of work ~ stunning in an art gallery kinda way.

Which makes me think the wood is not supposed to EVER be taken out of those neatly arranged slots.

Also taken with the hare. Obviously a private joke ~ but gorgeous nonetheless.
