Looking for a pain free weekend project? This brilliant little idea could be just what the doctor ordered.
I noticed these cool chalkboard globes over at the arbiter of vintage style, Blue Bell Bazaar. But please don't harm any lovely globes in the process {i have a soft spot for them} , but for one that is past vintage cool or is just plain ugly, this is a lovely idea.

Yikes......although i think it looks great, I am a collector of vintage globes and shudder to think of people painting them. It is a good idea though for an old and battered one. I will file that idea away. thankyou.
Oh what a super idea! We of the small countries can chalk them back in bigger and more bombastic than they really are. You may have saved the sinking nation of Ireland.
Such an innovative away to reinvent old treasures!
