I'm an easy target for the Moroccan look. I love the textiles, the rendered surfaces, the stone ware, the brass ware and the rich colours.
I think Riad life and I were meant for each other. I haven't been yet. But, one day. Have you? What was your favourite treasure that you brought home with you?

Yep, Morroco and Turkey for colours and textural inpsiration....perfect Jules.
Makes me want to hop on a plane immediately...but probably not an A380 at the moment!
I've never been to Morocco but I've been wanting to go for YEARS. Everything I see from there just takes my breath away and these rooms are no exception (though the outdoor area is by far my favorite).
Jules, I love how you have such an endless supply of rooms to show. I don't get to comment on every post (darn schoolwork), but I certainly read every one and swoon every time.
would love to visit morocco. if you happen to, you know in your spare time, organise a design loving tour with fellow bloggers, i'm in!
I fell in love with Morocco when I went there a few years ago! It's a very intriguing place filled with inspiration and beauties! The images you have posted surely do verify that!
I've never commented before, but I love basically every image on this site... I think we have exactly the same sort of taste :) In case you were wondering, the arabic on the stairs alternately says "king" and "pen" (as in a writing pen). I'm at a loss for why anyone would bother writing those two words on their staircase (along with random arabic letters).
