Other Side

That first image of this home really caught my eye. I love the colour of the art and how it sits against the gorgeous grey back drop. It is a home filled with great art works and lovely views.

However I really couldn't cope with that art display above the fireplace. Could you? It's a good thing I probably live on the other side of the world, because if I ever did happen to visit this home I'd be looking for a hammer the second I walked in the door.

Hiya hon, mmm have to agree on the art display, would drive me nuts.

I really like the last shot of the outdoor area.

Hope all is good for you. I'm still on the kitchen at the moment. The floor looks great, so relieved.

Ha, that's funny, I felt the same urge re: that art layout - it's petulant! Intriguing selection of images, Miss Diversion.

Love that first image too - great colour. I'm sure the layout above the fireplace would bug me too, but at the same time I like the quirkiness. It's such a surprise when even the wood in the fireplace is so symmetrical! xx

I love the art! Definitely has some humor here, which I appreciate. And yes, the one picture needs to be moved! It's funny though, I am trying to be okay if some of my pictures aren't totally straight, I think it gives character! Maybe just looks slatternly though, who knows, eye of the beholder and all! XX!

I am glad you said that too about that art. I think they missed the point of making it unexpected. It is too contrived. I put my thumb over that straying picture and loved it with just 5. Now that would have been unexpected and the bit of whimsey I think they were trying for. Sometimes people try too hard. It needs to just happen.

Love the first photo and everything in it. The fireplace art I also like, as we are so used to seeeing things in perfect alignment it draws the eye elsewhere!
