Acquired Treasures

This home struck me as having that kind of effortless coolness that many people strive for and some people try to buy, which comes by magically on its own accord and can't be created.

It comes from acquired treasures and personal garnishes that accumulate by volume over time, not by staging. And needless to say, I'm sickeningly jealous.

You're so right Jules - the best homes always have that X factor that only comes from this kind of mix. Gorgeous!

I agree with you 100%. I recently saw a room where the designer had collected flea market treasures to fill a games room. It completely missed the point.
