Some people are just blessed right? It may be incredible intellect, a winning smile, or architectural gold. This home is a distinct example of the latter.
This old girl has obviously had some work done, but instead of ending up expressionless, this gorgeous home is glowing with original detail. I like the use of the darker tone on the ceiling (although I'm not sold on that colour). The ceiling and the wall mouldings really draw the eye up. And in this case, up and up and up. Brilliant.

I am with you Jules and I love the white painted walls in the bedroom...I thought it was a series of canvas paintings. Nothing like a coat of white paint to bring it all home!

I love it, I love it, I love it. All of it. The chair, the clean lines, the light ans the little moments of authenticity. Gorgeous. Lovely piece of writing, too - that was endearing.

let me tell ya - i LOVE re-purposed homes instead of boxy-new development houses that are boring and plain! ... that light is FABULOUS btw! ..
McDreamy and I always say, "give us a space with good bones, and we can make it smile!" ~ this (as well as almost all your past few posts) fit into our dream space to call our own!

I love the decor, all the natural light, really everything!
For me its all about that crazy glass ball chandelier and the fuchsia throw blanket. All about that deep pink color right now!
