Zen Like

With two partially feral boys, this look is on my "never going to happen, but man isn't it gorgeous" list. I predominantly like colour in my world, but i'd love to give this a whirl for even a short time. Like some kind of social experiment, I think it might even quieten me down a bit!

Do you have all white, everywhere, all the time? If so, how is your zen like state coming along?

Jules, I cannot live in a world without color! I crave happy, vibrant colors and the other part of the equation is I have 2 kids, 3 dogs and 1 husband. Enough said!

Couldn't do it I'm afraid, but I am mesmerised by that light stack at the entrance to the bedroom.

Hey Jules,
I'm with Kerry re practicality and the light stack.
There's a very fine line between hospital clinical and gorgeous and these guys have nailed it.

Well I'm feeling a bit more Zen for seeing this....so calming, which I need right now!

I'm doing all the outside white much to my builders dismay...that and weatherboard has just about tipped him over the edge. Anyway off to talk kitchens today :o

xoxoxo
dare I say it....Thursday honey.

As I am Swedish I feel right at home in a predominantly white environment. It lifts my spirits, calms me down and allows me to be creative.. But 'all white'.. not so sure about that. I need 'anchors' in contrasting colours, but that doesn't have to mean 'colourful'. I am very happy with greys, blacks, midnight blue etc with an accent of bright colour.

Even for people who love color, you gotta be able to appreciate a bright white bedroom. What better place to be able to shut out visual overstimulation and just be able to relax than in your sanctuary.

That white bedroom is STUNNING.

The shots of the bedroom are my favorite! It looks so cozy and peaceful. I've definitely tried the all white look at times, but right now I'm in more of a color phase.

Those cubes above the kitchen counter intrigue me. I guess they are cabinets?

LOVE this and that's hilarious about your boys. My bff's are wild banshies and it's hard but great AND unique these days, your boys are lucky.

I love this home. It really does create a state of calm. I have a entirely white bathroom and quite of bit of white in my bedroom. I love it and wouldn't change, it does mean I have to buy new duvets/sheets/towels more often, but it's worth it. Thanks for sharing this home. Beautiful!
