Soft Landing

The texture of this house just sucks me in. In a clean modern home, the unfinished concrete, the timber and the textiles all add a soft landing for my eye.

I'm particularly fond of the sitting area in the first image, the suspended timber ceiling really gives the space a bit of nostalgic look to my way of thinking, bordering on 70's sunken lounge. Love it.

I love this place, nice, clean and simple. The natural light is great too and the architecture of the stairway is so cool! Thanks for commenting on my blog today:-).

I love how the unfinished concrete paired with the wood on the walls and floors and ceilings (in some rooms) really give this place a warmth to it. I typically don't go wild over modern homes, but this is a definite exception.
