Rhetorical Question

Could Ilse Crawford's work get any more fabulous?! Rhetorical question naturally. I just love the work she has done at Grand Hotel, Stockholm, I can hardly explain.

The light fittings, right out of the gates, knock me sideways; but the seating, the detailed finishes and the understated glamour is off the charts.

Wow, that screen! And I'd be quite happy slaving away in that kitchen.

You could rename this post 'Touche* Thursday' because everything in these images evokes the 'Wow!' factor in my mind,

IC is one of my favourite designers and design thinker of all time. When I grow up I want to be her.

I'm going to reply with a huge "yes!"

I adore these spaces... there's something about gold and grey that gets me every time -- and pulled off so well. The kitchen is my most favorite of all. It looks so organized and chic. Lovely feature... I hope you are having a great week :)

This certainly has her name written all over it. Love that big curving Chesterfield sofa.
