The Real Deal

I know I've said this before, but...I am so thrilled that there are talented people on this earth creating beautiful and clever things such as these sculptures.

Are you looking at it wondering how the hell did they manage to get something so detailed, so beautiful, so finely crafted, out of polystyrene foam?

Well that's exactly what I thought, until I read a bit further and realised they are made of marble. Yes, marble. Two very clever sculptors working under the collective banner of Affiliati Peducci/Savini have created a play on materials here with this spoof looking work, that is actually the real deal. I'm in awe.

They are so beautiful & amazing. I'm a tiny bit disappointed because I was just thinking: Oh, how light they must be when you're moving house. But then, can't complain about marble!
