Integrity

I love the way this home has been left in it's original state, with the patina of age on it's walls and floors clearly evident. This patina gives an amazing backdrop to the modern art and furniture, that gives the whole look a kind of integrity.

Hi Jules! Just saying hi - got back from Paris last night. Having a hard time sitting in front of a computer after a week of rushing-about-and-soaking-it-in. On the other hand, too jetlagged to do much else!

So sad about Marija. I did not know her blog but such circumstances are always so sad.

Loved your posts about the glass house and Ilse Crawford! I'm sure I have pictures of that loft from like a 10-year old M.C. Maison - I particularly like the glass AND that huge expanse of shelving. I will have to dig it up to compare then and now!

Cheers!
