The Charm

There is a stunning openness in this home that is matched with a light touch of warm and comforting furnishings and fabrics that really brings the charm. Nothing is over powering, but nothing is lightweight and banal either. Brilliant.

Ahh, light-filled rooms with stone floors where the feet aren't cold. Beautiful house!

Jules, such divine images! Toile wallpaper in such a barren landscape - I love the juxtapositioning of it all x

A really like this mix. The slightly unfinished look of the weathered timber frames and polished concrete flooring give a nice contrast to the somewhat ornate furnishings.

Oh sweet pea I laughed when I saw the floors, you are so in love with them right!!!

I really love this, so open and casual but with great style.

You know...everytime I come over here to your beautiful place I sigh and admire....and think about how I would put into words what I love about what I am seeing...and then, YOU put it perfectly. Open, with a light touch or warmth & comfort. *sigh* You are brill my friend & have I mentioned that I wished that you lived next door? :)

I pretty much loved everything about that house, apart from the snakes that might be lurking outside!
