Perfect Trilogy

So many details here that I find very easy on the eye. The consistent black injection, the gobsmackingly lovely collections of vintage art and tables, and the inlaid stools are right up there in the 'phwoar' stakes for me.

But the detail that I've taken from this home (and one that you really don't need a gorgeous building and furniture to pull off) is the black and white ticking that's been used as a bed skirt. Cheap, easy and stylish - a perfect trilogy.

My mom did the same candle collection in a wicker tray when I was growing up! I knew she knew something about design. I've learned from the master, lol!

i'm liking all the grays, and all the tidy GROUPings. wish my life could be so tidy. somehow objects having other similar objects to keep them company seems so right! i.e., plan b could very happily be not so very different from plan a! i like that! if only.......

I can only imagine how peaceful it must be to come home to a house like this every day. I love colour way too much to actually live in a place like this but I sure do love seeing images. Splendid!...Carol

Another post that makes me want to paint all my walls AGAIN! I just love white and black. Artwork just pops right off these walls and it feels so graphic and cool. Awesome find Jules!

PS. I loved your comment about your arse hanging out too! You gave me and my mum a good chuckle!

that first image stole my heart. I like the weights there- it seems a little less styled then some shots.

You're not kidding—I scrolled through this post three times, as there are so many great details to absorb—from the gorgeous wide-planked flooring to that gorgeous statement desk and chair. (love the touches of yellow, too) Your posts are very inspiring. Keep up the great work :)
