This country home has that natural edge about it. Endemic stone and hardwoods are two key ingredients that really set a country house away from the pack I think, and they've been used brilliantly here.
It has an internationalist feel to it to my eye. Where do you think it is?

but i'm vacuuming just at the moment and all i can think is: dust dust and DUST!

Not next door to me that's for sure. But perhaps next to a juju hat factory! I really love that seat next to the fireplace and the stone is sensational.
ok p.s., i will have to send you a pic of my jewelry drawer and we'll compare notes. i'm referring back to the other post with the necklaces on all the doors.
that pic with the brown sofa, red necklace, LAVENDER SHEEPSKIN RUG! i can't tell you what effect it had on me.! wow!
Jules this is magnificent.
The outdoor lounging space is brilliant and one of the best uses of juju that I've seen/

Gorgeous! I love the antlers! I agree, country living can get way too cutesy, these are chic and sophisticated! XO!
Really gorgeous, would be amazing to be there...has touches of Africa in it.
