Farmhouse Is A Relative Term

Farmhouse is such a relative term isn't it?! I mean take a look at this  beautiful place. "Farmhouse'' - not from my point of reference. Perhaps ''Grand Country Lodge" better describes it.

And equally, my old farmhouse would have been best be described by some as ''derilect shelter for humans and vermin which someone has spent waaaay too much money on", but each to their own, right?

Do you think they have assistants to do the actual farming while they sit round tweaking the interiors just so? Because in my experience interiors don't tweak themselves. It's very nice indeed.

Speaking of relative... I wish I had one that owned a place like this. I'd be visiting every weekend!

Maybe they grew a lettuce & this eniltled them to use the term "farmhouse" - so distant to the farmhouses that surround me out here in the back blocks! Having said that there are some stunning homes out here, just not quite so quaint......

Jules,
You always manage to evoke a gasp from me, today it was the 'farm'house bedroom.
Maybe it was the doona [it's even getting cold in Noosa] or maybe the colours, but more than likely the great styling.
Enjoy the weekend,
Felicity

Yes I agree it is a grand mansion which happens to find itself in the country and possibly near a cow or two. Love those pull out vegetable drawers. Really this is so far from my mother's farmhouse .... I like it but I would be concerned about mussing up the floors with my muddy boots..
