Seeing urban art being commissioned and created is one of my favourite things about my work. I get a bit wistful about it really, and imagine that someone whose daily life never gets touched by art may have a close encounter with a piece and be moved or inspired.
OK, enough romanticising. I spotted this lovely mural that has been created in Brisbane by Kate Shaw over at one of my favourite inspiration destinations, Urban Art Projects.

Hey Jules, well my first reaction was 'Woah!' and then went for a scoot to both Kate's site and then Urban Art Projects and was gobsmacked. How about the images of the opera house, sensational!
I can't wait for my next trip to Bris-Vegas to go for a wander down Stanley lane to see Kate's work up close and personal. Have a great weekend. F

I love this bit of Brissy urban art - it is a great way to entice people use that laneway. Fab post, Jules.
Just gorgeous! That's one thing I love about big cities, they have the most unexpected little surprises, like this! Very, very cool!
