I'm really enjoying collecting image after image of 60's inspiration for the Splendour. Anything with pitched roofs and floor to ceiling glass is snaffled up very quickly into my inspiration file.
This pad particularly because of the painted textured walls. Not sure if they added the texture, or it was there already, but its given me some ideas. The Splendour has a blobby concrete finish to the fireplace. And man, it is stuck on good. I've whacked it with all manner of things, and that stuff isn't budging.
Next option, paint it. Current plan is my favourite black, not quite as daring as this awesome place. But then, I'm trying to hide it, not make it even more obvious!

Black paint should certainly help hide it! And maybe a bit piece of colourful art?
I love the raked texture on that purple wall - looks like it was done with the concrete trowel?
Oh good luck with that Jules..paint it black then a huge piece of art over it as Anna said :)

I can't wait to see what you come up with! The bottom pic reminds me of a home I lived in as a kid. what I wouldn't give for it now!!!
I can't decide if I love of hate that textured wall. Either way its interesting.
