The way that ancient buildings like this one get gently coaxed into the future by clever architects and skilled tradesmen really blows my mind.
This home now offers the best of both worlds, a stunning old building with modern comforts and clean lines. I particularly like the contrast between the old timbers in the hallway and the ever so slightly 70's pine lining fitting out the bedroom spaces.
But that terrace with its copper lined wall and the views so cleverly snuck into the roof elevation - genius.

When I read your last comment I realised with a flash that you obviously have a fabulous grasp of architecture and how it works. A stunning property - looks very livable and unassuming while still being beautiful and serene. And what a view!
You'd never know from looking at the outside what a stylish interior this house would have. I think its so clever how people are able to mix old and new so well.
