There are several things here that I really love. I'm rather taken with how what looks like a four poster style bed is actually a platform on which the bed stands. The dark panelled walls with the brooding art is another fabulous move, along with the skull lamp.
But the little 'take home' detail I like is the white quartz shards that are in the fire place. Sensational idea for summer.

Atmospherically this is luscious, dark velvet personified! Gorgeous - skull kinda creepy but kinda cheeky humour too - love it all.
