I have an exceedingly soft spot for carrera marble, so when I saw this house I was won over instantly. Did you see that kitchen bench, I mean, insanely stunning.
And then to throw the same cavalier use of this decorating nirvana to the wind, the bath tub!

Whilst travelling in Italy a few years ago by train we saw hundreds, maybe thousands of slabs of white Carrara marble in yards by the train line. The nearby mountains reflected white so I am pretty sure they were where the marble was coming from. Next stop was Carrara station. Very surreal.
I love the look of the HUGE bedroom and pool too!
I'll take that brilliant mirror.

And don't forget those flagstone floors....to die for! K xx
But what I really love is the smoothness of the marble against those lovely rustic old floors. Gorgeous!
P.S. Make sure you enter my giveaway Jules.

oh my, THAT bathtub is amazing : ) I've never seen an all marble bathroom before, even the shower.... very cool!
There are too many beautiful items in these pictures to single out just one. I love it all.
So do I! I love marble, the Ancient Greeks knew what they were doing. There is a fabulous marble lobby in one of the office buildings here done in the 70's. It is stunning. I hope that they dont 'renovate' it
