The Black Wall

OK, so after much waffling on and faffing around - I finally got it done. And I love it. I also painted the other walls the same grey that the rest of the house is painted.

I'm kicking myself a bit though because I got so fired up on  a mix of  dark chocolate, Foo Fighters and Tony Bennett, that I forgot to take before photos. Oh well. Suffice to say, imagine a lot of mucky old off white with lilac accents. Yeah, nice.

I am so swept off my feet in love with that suzani, can hardly explain. And seriously, what a bargain. Take a look back through here and here for the eBay store that sent this stunner all the way from Uzbekistan.

Thanks for putting up with the aforementioned waffling and faffing - now we can resume normal transmission!

You did great to do this yourself, I'd still be lolling around eating choc's and hoping I could rope someone else into doing it.

Jules, the wall colour looks great and I love, love, love the spread!! I saw it in another photo as a cloth over a table that is stacked with books and it looked fab there as well. You will get a lot of mileage out of that one. Well done!!
