Shimmer
















I love the way some houses have a quietness about them. Without even appearing to try, they have an elegance that is so appealing.

That's how I felt about this home. Classic good looks, amazing original elements (did you see those tiles?!) and a sense of understated chic.

And then to show us that the owners really are paying attention, they bring on the shimmer.

I know what you mean, some house just have a certain presence. Mine lacks that "thing" that is hard to define.

Gotta love the shimmer. I've just done a wall of faux mother-of-pearl in a client's house, and it looks amazing. Just enough bling, without being garish. Love it! K xx

wow!! I could stare at those photos and study them all day! The light fixtures are gorgeous. Thinkign a lot about light fixtures these days. They really make a huge statement if done right.

Oh, I know what you mean too. This house invites you in. You could imagine walking around barefoot just touching and looking.
I've just popped over from City Sage btw, so its my first visit.
