I'm having golden fun playing over at the lovely blog 10 Rooms today, please do come and visit. Anne-Marie's blog is all kinds of fabulous, if you don't know it, you should!

Just Because.....
...this place is complete girly heaven. And even though I'm not typically a subscriber, I'm loving it.
Now in search of Italian tole nesting tables.

Do A Girl A Favour...
...and go and buy one, or all, of these beautiful things that are haunting me on Etsy. {Click each image to take you direct to the shop} {{go on, seriously}}. With my real estate shopping outing yesterday, I fear that there will be little coin to spread about the Etsy ether in the months to come. Damn Perth real estate market!! I haven't bought anything just yet, but i think I have finally sold, so there's one part of the equation done. Just need to get my head around the seven figures required to make a purchase where I want to be.
Apologies, but have been a bit preoccupied this week to pay proper attention to who I need to thank for some love, but a quick last minute one I just noticed is from....
But of course, thanks to each and all for dropping in for a Diversion to go this week, and I hope that Blogger gets its act together soon so I can drop by and let you know I've been!
May be MIA for a few days here and there over the week ahead, three day headaches and real estate stalking are taking their toll.

A Gorgeous Detail And A Little Peeve
How's this for a gorgeous little detail. I love that the mirrors are all white washed, makes picking up el cheapos from the second hand shop possible as you don't have to worry about the quality of the frame. V. cool look indeed.
Anybody else getting stroppy with Blogger? Man, I'm having trouble at the moment trying to post comments at your blogs. The stinking thing just won't let me log in! I've given up several times this morning, and then read over at David's Savoir Faire blog that he's having the same issue. At that stage I thought I'll try posting as Anon and it worked. So for now, I've reinstated Anon as an option for posting here at the Project. Just keeping my fingers crossed that this latest problem doesn't lead to another day and a half of maintenance!
Happy Saturday to everyone - I'm off real estate shopping.

Almost Quietness
Again, so much bedroom goodness here. The softness and almost quietness of the first bedroom makes me think that maybe a declutter might be my answer to a good night's sleep quandary at the moment. You know, build the zen place and the zen will flow kind of theory.
But I love that single bedroom even more . Something in that colour mix right there makes me particularly happy. It pleases my eye no end.

Big White
Flipping jealous of that panton light over the table. It is seriously cool.
But on bedrooms {yep, still there}, loved seeing that big white faux on the bed. Reminded me of an I-could-do-that moment I had last winter, but at the time I struggled with the idea of having to cover my suzani. Still am.
Maybe one day some white faux will make it's way through my door, but probably not this year either.

Do You Ever
I seem to be honing in on bedrooms a lot lately. Do you ever get that way - sometimes its just all about the bedroom {ok, not what I meant, keep it together}, or the kitchen or the garden.
I love the colour wall in this particular bedroom, but even better I love the little wardrobe/dressing room. I so want one of those. I currently have a big wall of fitted cupboards, so storage is OK, but I'd really like a dressing room. A bit like a butler's pantry to a kitchen, there's something so nice about having an intimate little single use room.
And being someone who never has enough scarves, necklaces or bags, I could really go to town fitting out a dressing room!

A Tingle
This place grabbed me because it is so unabashedly vintage from top to toe. Some people really hone in on a look and it becomes like their language. Don't get me wrong, I kind of admire that. I'm such a flibbertigibbet that I can never stick at one.
The main reason though that I wanted to show you this place is that bed. How cool is that. I get a tingle of wow-would-love-to-give-something-like-that-a-try every time I see steel tube DIY. But sadly it's kind of like my other would-like-to-give-that-a-try envy, Kate Lanphear's hair; it's probably not going to actually happen!

Deservedly
I'm particularly loving the blue and green hues that this place is showing off. But with it's zebra skin, gilded Italian tole, cream vintage tolix and lovely art and books galore, it seems showing off comes naturally. Deservedly so.
