The Thaw

I found myself up to my neck in images of beach houses, the ocean, and summer light and shade this weekend. Trying to find an antidote to being cold to the bone each morning watching football.

These images certainly aided the thaw very nicely. The first one there just blew me away altogether. Nothing much beats a white shell, timber and a few blue vintage pieces for a beach house.

  4. Oh I whole heartedly agree. Gorgeous images. Now this may sound strange... but coming home from cold Canberra to the thong and singlet capital of Australia (yes they were all wearing them today at the supermarket) has made me miss the cold. I love rugging up, love scarves and gloves. Winter is so much more fashionable than Summer, especially down south. I think I need to move to Canberra! A-M xx

  6. Is it just me or is that the biggest bloody cow (rug) I've ever seen! I'm at the beach right now, alas...not in this house! It's stunning.
